The Mary Noel Kershaw Foundation

3rd national unsurrendered bannerThose who knew League founding board member Jack Kershaw are blessed with an abundance of unique memories. He was a character all his own. Jack was our last link to the Vanderbilt Fugitives and had many entertaining stories of their exploits as well as exploits of his own.

As an attorney, Jack participated in some rather unusual cases, including representing black families in Chattanooga who did not want their children bussed as well defending James Earl Ray, the man charged with assassinating Michael King (aka Martin Luther King, Jr.).

Jack’s greatest love after his wife was the South. To honor her and help The League of the South, he established the Mary Noel Kershaw Foundation. As a 501(c) 3 entity, it can receive tax deductible contributions for artistic and educational purposes carried on within the Southern States.

The Kershaw Foundation has been a largely neglected opportunity for our people to donate funds which can be used to support the educational work of the League of the South. We encourage you to consider the Kershaw Foundation for your next contribution.

Checks should be made out to the MN Kershaw Foundation and mailed to the League office at PO Box 760, Killen, AL 35645.
